We are very happy to announce that the Minister's Student Adivsory Council for 2011-2012 has been selected. As always, we are thrilled with the prospect of working closely with the new council members!

Premier Stelmach made an announcement on May 24th that unveiled his initiative to build or renovate 35 schools across the Province of Alberta. This plan will see 22 new or replacement schools constructed and modernization of 13 existing schools in Alberta’s fastest-growing communities.
 

The Canadian Parks Council has recently released a report that summarizes a research project on increasing youth engagement in Canada’s parks agencies. The council conducted a gap analysis of Canadian park agencies’ youth engagement.
