I was reading an article in eSchoolNews the other day about how teachers, even though they are qualified to teach on paper, they don’t always have the people skills to help others learn.
Have you ever been in class listening, and you just do not understand what your teacher is trying to say? That’s what this article highlights. According to this article, different problems in education systems across Canada can be linked to a teacher’s ability to teach. As a solution, programs are being installed to help teachers learn how to teach to different learning styles so everyone in the classrooms is grasping important concepts.
Do you think this issue is relevant in your school? Can you relate to those students who just don’t understand what is going on in class? What do you think could help solve some of these problems?
