Well according to an article released by the Harvard’s students in a public health program it may reduce coronary mortality. Coronary disease refers to the failure of coronary circulation to supply adequate circulation to the hearts muscles. The University of Athens Medical School did a very large study observing 23,681 individuals living in Greece. These participants were followed for an average of 6.3 years. The results showed that people, who regularly took siestas, napping at least three times per week for an average of at least 30 minutes, had a 37% lower coronary mortality. They believed these naps improved individual’s health so much because they acted as a stress reliever. These studies have already changed the working environment in some countries. In China workers are given time in their day for a 15 minute nap, this small change has increases health and productivity. The students from Harvard say hopefully this information will catch on and soon everywhere naps will be a big part of individual’s lives, especially in education. They hope these stress relieving naps will help students to be more calm and collective in the classroom. The students at Athens hope to start a pilot project in a school, giving them one 30 minute nap everyday and monitor how it affects their test scores.

I think that it is a good idea because we would focus more, pay atteniton more and not be so over tired.

I strongly Agree with Mercedes1045, Because is really important to have our sleep and have more rest so we can have all that time to think and to payattention , and on the other hand we also have ALL the time to stay up on weekends :'( I think that idea is WOULD be cool. -Shyonna

This is an interesting idea. But unfortunately, some people just can't nap- I am one of them. Even if I had this time to take a nap, I wouldn't be able to use it to its full potential.

Some how i Think its really important with the program, to really have our naps but some, how we can sleep during the last night before school or befroe school stars, cause some people wont sleep on weekends :'( Some teenagers dont mostly like to wake up in the morin and go to school and yehh it wounld be reallyy pretty kool to have sleep times, during our school times. XD ;))
