Since the official launch of Speak Out - the Alberta Student Engagement Initiative in November 2008, we've heard from thousands of students at Speak Out Forums, at the Annual Speak Out Conferences, through the Minister's Student Advisory Council and through this website.

Inspiring Education: A Dialogue with Albertans
June 2010
Released by the 22-member Steering Committee of Inspiring Education: A Dialogue with Albertans, the Inspiring Education report outlines high-level direction and a vision for education over the next 20 years. Approximately 4,000 Albertans participated in this unique public engagement project last year through facilitated community sessions, a conversation kit, a provincial forum and various social media tools. Information from Speak Out was provided on an ongoing basis and the Speak Out Team has gone through this document and highlighted where YOUR voice was heard! This document will be foundational to how education looks and feels for years to come! You've had an incredible impact on the future direction of education. Check it out!
